The course is aimed at all personnel authorized to access the airside area, whether they are applicants or already in possession of a Red or Green Airport Entry Card (T.I.A.).

The objective of the “Airside Safety” basic course, in accordance with the regulations of EU Reg. 139/2014, is to increase awareness among all operators of the risks present in the airside area, as well as the main rules for circulation and movement of personnel and vehicles.

  1. Introduction
  2. Preliminary definitions
  3. The aircraft
  4. The airport and its rules
  5. Organizational structure
  6. Hazards and risks in Airside

The course has a duration of approximately 2 hours and is delivered through e-learning (self-training) at a cost of €25.00 + VAT per participant.

After successful payment, each user will receive a confirmation email within 48 hours, containing the login credentials and instructions to access the platform. At the end of the training, the platform will present a short test to assess learning. Upon successful completion of the test, a digital certificate with a unique authenticity code will be issued, confirming the successful completion of the course.

The certificate is valid for two years, unless the Airport Entry Card (TIA) expires due to the termination of employment with the company or the renewal of the TIA. Therefore, it is recommended to keep the participation certificate for record keeping.

Starting from March 10, 2017, participation in the Airside Safety course is mandatory for all individuals who, in various capacities, need to access the airside area (movement area: maneuvering area and aircraft apron) to perform their activities, for the purpose of issuing/renewing a Red or Green card.
