The request for an Airside Driving Permit is allowed for:
Individuals who have a role/task in the Movement Area. Individuals who hold a valid driver’s license of an appropriate category for the type of vehicle to be operated, as required by the current Highway Code. For vehicles not covered by the Highway Code, at least a type B license is required. Individuals in suitable health, physical, and mental conditions.
The type of airport license issued depends on the activity that the applicant needs to carry out in the Airside area. Therefore, they are classified as follows:
Type “A” Apron License, which allows circulation only on the aircraft apron and internal roadways. Type “R” Runway License, which allows circulation throughout the Movement Area, including the Manoeuvring Area, with compliance with the regulations regarding authorizations and radio contact with the Control Tower.

The duration of the Type A license course is approximately 1 hour, and the duration of the Type R license course is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Costs:
Issuance or renewal of Type A and R licenses = 50.00 euros + VAT.
